This module introduces students to frameworks and tools for navigating the launch of this new, modern form of marketing.

Finding and selecting Influencers and influencer marketing platforms

One of the greatest challenges for marketers is finding the right influencers/creators at scale to drive the right kind of content and engagement for the brand and the business with the right target market. Students will be introduced to the methods and platforms that facilitate the selection and management of influencers.

Legal aspects of influencer marketing

Influencer Marketing is regulated in most parts of the world as it involves endorsements of products/services by third parties. This class will cover the legal considerations for designing and implementing an influencer marketing strategy or campaign and provide examples of successes and failures.

Content creation and categorization of influencers

The more authentic and timely the content from the right influencer, the better the engagement. This class will introduce you to the processes for both generating and scheduling engaging content as well as how to categorize influencers to achieve your business goals.

Setting up an ambassador course

Brands can often benefit from setting up their own ambassador network or course whereby influencers and creators can be more fully linked with the brand and receive ongoing compensation for evangelizing the brand via online and in-person experiences. The class will explore the various models for ambassador courses and provide examples of the most successful courses to date.

The metrics and measurement of influencer marketing

Every influencer marketing course has business goals that need to be achieved. This class introduces students to all of the various metrics that can be generated via social channels and how to prioritize them based on your business objectives.
